**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader Surveying to provide day-to-day leadership, support, and direction to our dedicated Survey Team. This role involves managing internal survey resources and coordinating the delivery of survey services that support Council’s annual Capital Works Program and other projects identified throughout the operational year.

This position will require you to utilise your strong background in surveying, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination to ensure surveys are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with NSW legislation and industry standards.

You will also be a key member of the Engineering & Project Delivery Department, working closely with internal teams and external consultants. Your technical expertise and commitment to quality will directly contribute to the delivery of infrastructure and services that benefit the City of Ryde community.

**About You**
- Bachelor of Surveying
- Land Surveyor registration (or working towards) with NSW Board
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- WH&S Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
- Experience in cadastral, topographic, and engineering surveys, including setout and GNSS control
- Skilled in 3D topographic surveys of parks, roads, drainage, and open spaces
- Strong knowledge of boundaries, cadastral integrity, and land registry system
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and survey software (Trimble RealWorks)
- Experience managing survey projects and preparing professional reports and plans
- Ability to provide technical advice in legal and land-related matters
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently or in teams

Your commencing salary in either position will be from **$137,475 - $157,114 p.a. + To and From Work Vehicle + Superannuation,** dependent upon relevant skills and experience.
