**About the Role**
We need an experienced Team Leader (Project Management) to provide day to day guidance, support and leadership to a team of approx. 5 project managers who have a civil focus in delivering Council's annual Capital Works Program. The position will also require you to undertake some projects.
This position will require you to utilise your extensive construction, project management, contract management and team leadership experience to deliver projects that will make a difference to the community
As the Team Leader - Project Management you will also be a part of the wider Project Development Management Team and contribute your ideas and experience to achieving the overall goals of the Department.
Your commencing annual salary will range from **$130,929.08 to $150,568.45 + Superannuation + Civil Liability Allowance + Leaseback Vehicle,**dependent on your experience and qualifications.
**About You**
- Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related.
- Extensive experience in the planning, scheduling and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects which include but not limited to civil, public domain and landscape works with high community/political visibility.
- Excellent knowledge of legislation, regulations, design standards and codes of practice related to the construction, safety and management of civil, public domain, and landscape projects.
- Highly developed written communication skills including the ability to develop and/or oversee the preparation of tender and contract documentation, complex briefings and technical reports and community consultation/notification.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to negotiate project delivery outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
