**The Role**

Reporting to the Water Treatment Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to undertake the day to day operation of all recycle water plant and solid and liquid waste disposal and recycling systems.

Other core responsibilities of the role include:

- Support the Environmental Team and effectively communicate as part of the team, in the achievement to the environmental management system procedures.
- Demonstrated understanding of plant operational and performance parameters including:

- safe operation
- effect of BOD and oxygen levels
- hydraulic load and plant capacity
- sampling frequency and technique
- observation record keeping
- selection of appropriate discharge rates
- Trouble shooting fill levels

**About You**
- Experience operating various water treatment equipment/processes (e.g. aeration, screw press, clarifier, MBR, UF, RO)
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Physically strong/fit for duties involving a degree of manual labour/physical activity
- Day, Afternoon & Night Shift
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually as required
