Eilbeck Heavy Machining is a key and stand-alone division of Eilbeck Cranes heavily focused on Heavy engineering - contract manufacturing for various industries such as mining, rail, general engineering etc. Eilbeck Heavy Machining is an Australian based, 100% owned 3rd generation family business. With the growth in the manufacturing division at Eilbeck, there is an increasing demand for an array of contract general engineering equipment to be manufactured by Eilbeck Heavy Machining. All work predominately jobbing and low quantity manufacturing.

Due to current expansion at Eilbeck Heavy Machining, and the further development of our Heavy Fabrication division, we have expanded with the build of a new workshop in Moss Vale, we are seeking to employ the expertise of a Heat Treatment/Stress Relieving Operator in our Heavy Machine Shop.

The scope of this position will see you work with management to deliver components from drawing phase through to completion and delivery of high quality finished products.
About the role
The position assists with operations relating to the heat treatment processes to be carried out on Eilbeck Heavy Machining work to ensure they meet technical specifications in accordance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with heat treatment to ensure materials are treated in accordance with specifications
- Optimise the furnace loads for best balance of production schedule and furnace capacity
- Work as an effective team member
- Follow all guidelines as set out in the Company Policy Manual
- Adhere to Eilbeck Cranes systems and procedures
- Responsible attitude towards safety
- Have mathematical and written skills to set equipment, complete forms and write reports.
- Ensure that the department complies with all statutory regulation codes and practices
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Previous experience in similar industry and role
- High level understanding of manufacturing processes
- General knowledge of fabrication
Salary range: $30 -$40 per hour
**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Moss Vale NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
