**Your role**:
As the Lead Practitioner it is your role to liaise with DFFH, monitor risk and safety plans and identify performance trends and areas for improvement.

The Future Pathways program is an innovative approach built on practice elements such as motivational interviewing, communication skills building and goal setting to respond to identified needs and achieve real and demonstrable outcomes. In working collaboratively with children, young people, parents and carers they seek to address key intersectionality issues with families, children and young people (e.g. substance use, mental illness, low income, social isolation) as identified by each regional FPR Response.

This role supports programs in our South and Bayside regions and therefore will require travel between locations.

**Make Your Mark**:

- A practitioner who has previously lead teams or provided secondary case consults
- Ability to reflect on practice and spot gaps in service delivery
- Provide coaching and feedback
- Previous experience in a therapeutic environment ideally utilising recognised therapy practices such as motivational interviewing
- Knowledge and experience working with families with complex needs, mental health, AOD, family violence
- Willingness to work outside of normal hours to see families together and at home
- Ability to engage quickly and assess risk

**Key outcomes**:

- The program will equip parents with a greater knowledge about their children’s development.
- Assist in developing parenting strategies they can use to the best meet the development needs.
- The program aims to strengthen parenting capacity to ensure child health, safety and developmental outcomes are being met.
