ABOUT THE ROLE
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Event Specialist to take accountability for delivering inspiring events and engagement activities to our members across the VIC region. The events we deliver are an integral part of our member engagement strategy to deliver world-class member experiences whilst promoting the CA brand and designation. This varied role will see you build and manage relationships with our members across the region. Your customer experience, event delivery knowledge and relationship management experience will be key to engaging with and delivering value to our membership.

This is a permanent, full-time role within an amazing team. Our team based in Melbourne forms part of an incredibly collaborative culture offering opportunities for involvement in projects and innovative initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Deliver end-to-end face-to-face and hybrid events
- Creating marketing materials and campaigns
- Managing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating our regional social media activation and member communication
- Supporting local governance and member community groups and committees
- Responding to local Member enquiries, interactions, and engagement
- Utilising salesforce case management, reporting, and monitoring

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have knowledge and experience with the following:

- Prior experience in a similar events role, preferably within a corporate, hospitality or membership environment
- Experience organising events, including planning, logistics, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, both internal and external
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable problem-solving, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to maintain composure and a high level of personal presentation and polish during event delivery
- an aptitude for learning new systems is a must.
