Our client is a long-standing member of the community providing creative, planned and innovative services for our community. This well-established non-for-profit organisation is a Brisbane based service supporting needs such as legal, domestic violence, counselling, disability, mental health, employment and various other youth and family based services.

**The Role**:
**This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity, with the option to work a 9 day fortnight.**

On behalf of our client, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Child and Family Manager to lead an Intensive Family Support team with 5 staff members (Four Family Resource Practitioners and One Intake Officer).

The Intensive Family Support Team is also supported by a Domestic Violence Team and an Integrated Family Housing Specialist.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and influence a positive workplace culture and the development and maintenance of a cohesive and well-functioning team
- Participate in program service evaluations and organisational reviews; implement recommendations and monitor the achievement of client outcomes
- Identify and respond to changing needs of clients, resolve problems, contribute to improving working processes and procedures to improve service delivery to clients
- Manage program budgets in accord with agreed income and expenditure and ensure financial expenditure aligns with benchmarks, and targets are met
- Identify current and emerging risks, undertake risk assessments utilising the YFS’s risk assessment and risk management frameworks, develop contingency plans and implement swift correct action within scope of work or escalate risks to minimise or avoid negative consequences

**To Be Successful**:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or similar. Masters Degree qualification is desireable
- Five years experience working in Child and Family, with at least two years experience in a Senior Practitioner / Team Leader role
- Expert knowledge of; trauma informed practice, child development, child protection, the Safe and Together framework, how to engage families to achieve sustained improvements to family safety and functioning and working in conjunction with the Queensland Child Protection system
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Safe and Together Model

**Additional Requirements**:

- Current Queensland C Class drivers license
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or ability to obtain
- Current Positive Notice Blue Card
- Vaccinated against COVID-19

**Salary and Benefits**:

- **$97,280- $105,211 + Super + Salary Sacrifice**:

- Monthly accrued day off or work a 9 Day Fortnight
