Key accountabilities of this role

The Experience Designer will achieve success by designing innovative, intuitive, functional and experiences while acting as an advocate for the user on each project. In this role you will:

- Be a critical thinker who is imaginative and creative. You can identify areas where our products and services can be improved for our customers.
- Design flows and experiences that simplify and distil down complex actions into usable interfaces guided by user research and testing.
- Craft well considered visual design with hierarchy and balance that are part of an accessible design language.
- Collaborate across product design and scrum development teams to define the user experience for services on our website and spot opportunities to enhance usability.
- Be an ambassador for innovation - help to define, train and implement innovative
design processes.
- Contribute to AGL’s design culture with your own unique talents, and grow your career down a path that’s right for you.

Experience required
- A portfolio that demonstrates your experience which you can speak about in more detail.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of interaction design principles, user interface design patterns and standard HCD methodologies.
- High-level proficiency with design and prototyping tools including Figma.
- Experience in a digital Agile environment working closely with developers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to influence stakeholders professionally and effectively.
- You are a positive and resilient personality that embraces feedback and has a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.
