**About the Opportunity**:
The Finance Business Partner works closely with Flourish Australia’s Operations business units supporting them to use financial data and information to make timely decisions. This role enhances business performance through providing support for budget development and forecasting, financial insights, identifying opportunities for improvement, and aiding in planning decisions.

The Finance Business Partner helps to build the capability of managers to interpret financial information and to manage to the approved budget, helping identify budget variances and developing explanations and timely corrective actions in relation to them. This may include assistance with financial modelling for new initiatives, at the request of the Financial Controller or CFO.

The Finance Business Partner also closely collaborates with non-financial managers to align financial goals with business objectives, driving continual improvement in financial performance and management practices.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Essential:_
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and designation as a Chartered Accountant or CPA, with full membership of the relevant professional association.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting role and recent hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience providing financial leadership to operational teams across a multi-site network.
- Proven experience in communicating financial concepts for all levels of financial literacy and in providing finance based training to non-financial staff.
- Previous leadership in initiating and designing process improvements.
- Proven track record of supporting managers to improve financial performance and manage to approved budgets.
- Advanced Excel skills and sound experience using financial budgeting enterprise reporting system(s).
- Desirable:_
- A personal lived experience of a mental health issue or a carer of a person with a lived experience of a mental health issue.
