**About the role**:
We have an exciting part time opportunity for a dedicated experienced Veterinarian to guide our team to achieve excellent results through driving clinical strategies that oversee excellent standards of care.
As the Veterinary Manager, you will partner with the South Australian Clinical leadership and operational teams to review clinical procedures and set best practice operating standards, with a focus on resourcing, development and client service.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinarian to ensure clinical integrity is at the heart of commercial decisions, with the key focus being around:
- Strategic Veterinary leadership with a focus on standards of care
- Legislative compliance
- Clinical and team member coaching, development and education
- Participation in the wider Veterinary Services group within the business
- Actively working to cultivate our VetPartners SA clinical community through education gatherings, clinical meetings and social events
- Supporting Medical Advisory Board initiatives and projects, through presenting and embedding protocols and policies
- Working proactively to promote our VetPartners brand to our young and future members of our profession, by attending university events, supporting our new graduate program etc.
**About You**:
- Our future Veterinary Manager for South Australia will be an industry veterinary leader with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, including experience leading a clinical team.
- You will be able to demonstrate a passion for driving clinical integrity, financial and commercial outcomes and developing and mentoring clinical teams.
- Flexibility to travel intra and inter-state on occasion for group wide training events and meetings
