The Associate Consultant works with more senior team members to help deliver our EmpLive BAU changes in a way that solves the unique business challenges for each customer. The Associate Consultant works with the Services project teams to help ensure EmpLive is being developed comply with the needs of the customer and are delivered successfully by gathering and defining the customer’s documented requirements and validating their expected results. They continue to develop their skills in consulting, leadership client relationships, and in the knowledge of EmpLive.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for participating in the gathering and identifying customer business requirements from users, customers, and other stakeholders. This includes creating, maintaining business requirement documents, noticeable use cases and process diagrams.
- Understanding in best practices during the implementation of Workforce Management Software
- Help maintain requirements and keep records of important project artifacts in designated project repository
- Organise multiple tasks and prioritise as needed to meet deadlines
- Attend and participate in team meetings
- Follow process and continuously improve skills by following procedures and processes established by the Deliver Manger or Director of Services
- Provide status updates with Project Managers, customers, and stakeholders on project status
- Partner with all WFS internal teams during project phases to ensure successful customer implementation
- Assist internal WFS team with software testing along with roll out and go-live activities such as data loads and system initialisation
- Become familiar with aspects of AU/NZ labour laws and how they impact employers and their employees
- Conduct web-based and on-site customer solution workshops
- Attend training courses and undertake self-learning as required to further develop the skills and knowledge necessary for continued success
- Maintain internal training certifications as required
- Able to consider the customer needs in the development of strategic plans
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate problems to appropriate technical experts
- Track billable and non-billable project hours
- Work on project implementation assignments and follow standard practices and procedures in analysing situations or data

**Requirements**:

- Entrepreneurial mindset required, as the role needs capability of rapidly shifting focus and responding to ever-changing conditions
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Possess basic problem-solving skills
- Knowledgeable of and understand common implementation principles and lifecycle
- Capability to exercise mature judgement
- Demonstrate technical aptitude to learn quickly and adapts to new circumstances
- Ability to work with a dynamic, customer-focused team and establish excellent working relationships internally and externally
- Demonstrate a strong desire to grow functionally and technically as a professional consultant
- Familiarity with or background in HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management, considered a bonus

**Travel**
- Ability to travel up to 10% - 15%

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
