**A bit about the role**

The Payroll & Superannuation Officer is a critical role to drive operational success and accuracy of our payroll systems and functions. You will be responsible for providing front end support with the ability to review, triage and resolve enquiries, along with supporting the team in the delivery of fortnightly payroll. You will use your passion for data to provide cleansing and integrity audits and train employees in the utilisation of the self-service payroll interface.

**What you will deliver**
- Core payroll administration support, including new starters, changes and terminations.
- Accurate payroll records, representative of entitlements and conditions.
- Employee Workcover payments.
- End to end fortnightly payroll and ensure accurate payroll transactions and payments.
- Ongoing system and data maintenance, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Accurate management of superannuation funds & changes to contributions for employees.
- Payroll queries investigation and resolution.
- Process improvements deliverables in collaboration with leadership team.
- Strong client relationships with a focus on delivery.
- Support to the overall Unit, ensuring success through effective and efficient delivery of tasks.

**What you will bring**
- Strong understanding of the payroll services, including relevant legislation and compliance.
- Highly developed analytical, investigative and computer literacy skills, with experience administering a payroll system.
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, conceptualising and implementing creative solutions to achieve efficiency and enhanced decision-making capacity.
- Strong stakeholder engagement.
- Strong problem-solving ability, sourcing solutions and supporting the business with technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work and succeed in a fast past environment.
- A positive, curious, and flexible mind.
