**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced IT Product Manager to join our IT Workplace Technology team based at our Melbourne CBD office in a full time permanent capacity.

In this critical role you will be responsible for providing value to the organisation and our customers through the planning, delivery and implementation of new technology and improvement initiatives. Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders this role will develop an overall strategy, including a pipeline of projects, to ensure the business continues to meet our objectives for the Workplace Domain.

**Further responsibilities in this role**:

- Collaborate with the Senior Managers across the business unit to define the Workplace Roadmap of investment in technology
- Work with the stakeholders to understand and prioritise projects, enhancements and minor works to ensure business outcomes are met across Victoria Power Networks (VPN) and United Energy (UE)
- Manage the strategic development of technology and associated features, working closely with technical teams from initiation to delivery
- Drive cost reduction, IT environment simplicity and reliability
- Provide leadership and guidance to key stakeholders on initiatives and strategic development of platforms
- Ownership of project benefits, scope and their realisation
- Responsibility of project initiation and infrastructure planning
- Bring perspectives and insight around opportunities for innovation and improvement across the Workplace domain.

**To succeed in this role you’ll have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in IT/Computer Science or business-related discipline and Agile certifications are preferred
- Strong demonstrated experience in Commercial IT delivering value in a Product Manager role preferred
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers
- Experience working in a multi-sourced environment required
- Experience with IT infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, EUC
