About The Role
The Data Group Lead plays a key role in the Emergency Information Communication Services (ECIS) team. As the Data Group Lead, the purpose of your role is to ensure all Emergency Services Organisations (ESO) and related Government Agency Data set requirements are processed, loaded, and maintained in ESTA's Oracle and SQL database environments.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Information Systems, this role will be responsible for overseeing a team of Senior Data Administrator and Data Administrator Graduates.

**Day to day responsibilities include**:

- Drive the continuous Service Development life cycle strategy by developing tools or processes to assist stakeholders in better delivery of data.
- Engage with release and test teams to ensure quality delivery of data changes.
- Develop the ESTA data graduate program and manage a team of data graduates.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand data processing needs including managing the processing of data into ESTA's Computer Aided Dispatch System (CAD).
- Continuously review ESTA's standards and procedures specifically data processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

This is a permanent position based in Burwood East. Normal working hours are between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday. There may be reasonable overtime and you may be required to travel or transfer between your primary work location and other ESTA sites to effectively carry out your duties.

About You
- A Diploma/Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline.
- Knowledge of ITIL and ITIL V3 Certificate will be highly regarded.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in SQL Server Scripting and Oracle.
- Demonstrated experience using GIS related software (ESRI software suite).
- Strong understanding in change management, continuous improvement, and delivery implementation.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and resolve technical issues and initiative improvements.
- Prior experience with ITSM tool and ServiceNow is desirable
