Our company operates within in the Waste Management and Recycling Industry in Perth. Through an acquisition and merger program our company is expanding within this sector. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager with a strong background in business management, transport, manufacturing, team leadership and the drive to succeed. As General Manager reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's day to day operational performance.
- **Key Areas of Responsibility include**:_
- Responsible for the overall day to day operational management of the business to meet agreed KPI's.
- Overseeing the Perth based warehouses, transport logistics (10 trucks), processing of stock into the warehouses through to the exporting of the final product.
- Support the Managing Director in the strategic planning and implementation of these plans
- Support Business Development within the business by maintaining and enlarging relationships with existing and new customers.
- **To be considered you should be able to demonstrate the following**:_
- Degree qualified in commerce, manufacturing, or similar
- The demonstrated capacity to meet KPI expectations in past roles
- Minimum of 5 years exposure in a similar senior management role in fields such transport, waste management, recycling or manufacturing
- Proven capacity to run and operate a team in a commercial environment
- Capacity to provide three (3) current references.
- Truck and Forklift licences - preferred but not essential.

This position is a newly created and will be based in the northern suburbs close to the city. The role will come with a compensation package in the range of $125,000 to $150,000 pa plus superannuation, company vehicle and mobile phone.
