Job Description:

As a General Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
  • Support payroll processing and related reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
