Manager Property Development

**The role**:
To lead and manage the provision of services to the Property Development, Building and Plumbing Industries, for the construction, connection, and protection of assets. This role provides the leadership function for the Property Development team including innovation, customer service, technical review and policy development and implementation.

The Manager, Property Development is responsible for establishing and managing Notice of Agreements and consents for financial and hydraulic servicing conditions with developers, engineering consultants, water and sewerage contractors for the creation of over 200km of water, sewerage and recycled water assets each year and the creation of 10,000 new lots for housing and development.

**Who are you?**:

- Knowledge, experience of the Development, Building and Plumbing Industry for the provision of water and sewerage services, and the connection of properties to our assets. Minimum 10-15 years’ experience required.
- Excellent people management and communication skills enabling the incumbent to manage, motivate and lead a large group of people.
- Demonstrates Customer focus - establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains trust and respect.
- High level of communications and influencing skills to establish relationships with peak industry bodies to influence policy decisions and outcomes for South East Water.
- High level of negotiating skills to protect SEW’s interest relating to Development Projects.
- Knowledge of various Legislation, Regulations, Licence, and standards relating to the Development, Building and Pluming Industries. Detailed knowledge of South East Water’s Land Development Policy; Working knowledge of current policies, standards and specifications contained in the Water Industry Technical Standards.
- Knowledge and experience with hydraulic systems including Fire Protection systems, water recirculation and reuse systems
