This opportunity will allow you to create and deliver end-to-end projects as well as content for campaigns and initiatives across online and offline activities, PR, internal and external communications.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager. This role will provide guidance on industry best practice, ensuring all marketing and communications activities support the organisation’s vision, goals, values and strategic direction.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this position is responsible for internal and external brand communications strategies. You will be involved in developing and implementing marketing communication campaigns that deliver effective messaging to B2C, B2B audiences and stakeholders, and will make a significant contribution to achieving organisational objectives and building reputation.

This exciting opportunity offers a lot of diversity with the core areas of focus this role will lead:

- Content planning: develop and execute an integrated content editorial calendar that consistently delivers strategic content and ensures deadlines are met
- Creative strategy: working alongside our creative agencies and campaign leads, to deliver creative that cuts through and converts
- Messaging: Influence our key messaging, tone of voice, positioning and Brand for our future needs. Have a direct impact on PR, social media, content creation and influencer marketing.
- Campaign support: Develop and execute content ideas which help support campaign messaging to be used in wider customer marketing programs and achieve campaign targets.
- Industry trend analysis: Seek new insights and trends to provide recommendations that help position Ironfish.
- Team: Mentor and support direct reports who will assist in the delivery of brand and content requirements
- Formal tertiary qualifications in media, arts, journalism, communications or a related field.
- Hands on experience leading the content creation and execution across a broad and diverse range of topics and areas and audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively build relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Demonstrated experience in B2C and B2B Communications across long form and short form
- Demonstrated involvement/experience in the development of brand and marketing plans, budgets
- Knowledge of Wordpress, Hubspot, Salesforce and CANVA a bonus
- A creative, problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude.
