As a Head of Growth, you will be responsible for leading, building and measuring growth initiatives and experiments on our eCommerce store & subscription. You'll drive strong decision-making through quantitative results and AB testing, qualitative research and customer insights, and put a plan into action to translate these into growth plays for our business.

You will be adept at managing customer acquisition campaigns, planning media budgets and identifying creative that will convert. You are the go-to person in the company for building top of funnel campaigns, identifying new customer acquisition channels and measuring your success using cohort analysis, cLTV and CAC.

**The key to success in this role will be**:

- Developing top of funnel campaigns
- Development and reporting on top-of-funnel metrics, including but not limited to new user acquisition and monthly active users.
- Understand full-funnel automation & flows.
- Develop campaigns to nurture visitors and subscribers
- Identify software to derive deep insights to promote the right product to the right consumer at the right time.
- Ability to guide a customer to their first purchase, through implementing live-chat sequences, walk-throughs or creatively timed on-site messaging.
- Implementation of referral campaigns, loyalty campaigns and other retention focused campaigns with team members.
- Optimizing ad budgets across channels
- Managing the ad budget as per our financial projections and re-allocate funds based on campaign and product performance.
- Includes identifying opportunities in Adwords, Facebook, Amazon, Criteo, etc.
- Measuring and testing on-page strategies
- Understanding a visitors user interactions on our website, and interpreting the data to make insightful recommendations for improvements.
- Identify key on-page elements to test for better conversions.
- Build and measure the growth of initiatives and experiments.
- Drive better decision-making through AB testing, qualitative research & consumer insights.
- Identifying new customer acquisition channels
- Identify arbitrage opportunities for discounted ad-space inventory
- Plan new advertising channel implementations using existing ad-budget mix.
- Implement new channels with a 360° approach to creative messaging.
- Develop methods for identifying success and failure with clear objectives.
- Planning above the line media spend
- Identify above the line (billboard, TV, radio, etc) advertising channels, key messaging, timing and creative & offers that match our financial projections.
- Reporting and optimisation
- Identify the correct numbers for attribution of budgets to sales; including implementing software and deriving insights from analytics.
- Data analytical skills including SQL queries, advanced Excel, including Pivot tables, index matching and combining relevant data.
- Competitor analysis
- Monitoring competitor digital marketing and website stats including backlinks, paid marketing, software, team structure to interpret data and find opportunities.
- Social media & PR optimisation
- Ability to identify a story or hook to pitch a journalist and create consistent waves of traffic from highly relevant sources.
- Team management & systems
- Managing a team of 4-8 people focused on customer acquisition, including training and support.
- Hiring & developing a team of freelancers and assistants to scale necessary production and output required to achieve the goals.
- Stakeholder management
- Communicating to necessary stakeholders; including management, investors, agency partners and freelancers.

**Qualifications and training**
- MBA or Engineering degree preferable.
- Bachelor in Marketing, Entrepreneurship or Business.
- 5+ years of experience.
- At least 3-5 years in an agency or clientside marketing.

**Experience Required**
- Experience managing programmatic, affiliate, remarketing and biddable platforms - Google, Facebook, Twitter, InMobi, Criteo
- Experience in a variety of advertising mediums including print, radio, television, film, and social media.
- Proven experience managing and leading a team
- Experience with reporting documentation, and participation in strategic decision making

**Knowledge / Skills**
- Proven experience in digital marketing focused on growth & customer acquisition.
- Proven experience developing new & innovative marketing campaigns.
- Excellent financial skills and the ability to manage large budgets.
- Familiarity with media-buying, planning and research
- Interest in business, growth & startups.
