**About the role**:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven **Regional Sales Manager** to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth of our International® brand of Protective Coatings in the Brisbane Metro area and surrounding regions. Reporting to the Sales Manager - Protective Coatings in Asia, you will play a pivotal role in developing new client relationships, managing existing accounts, and securing specification positions on targeted projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Distribution Partners, and Supply Chain to do market research for in-depth market knowledge of the value chain of the accounts in the region.
- Identify business opportunities within applicators, fabricators, engineering contractors, owners, and consultants. Build rapport, pinpoint problems, arrange resolution, gain specification position, and convert to sale.
- Contribute to sales and profitability growth. Collaborate with the team on key revenue initiatives. Align with company and regional strategies.
- Build and improve customer satisfaction and engagement. Manage relationships with direct customers for mutual profitability growth.
- Plan, monitor, participate in, and report on sales and opportunity activities for designated customers, opportunities, and prospects.
- Promote a positive company image and develop long-term relations with assigned accounts by participating in customer and industry events.
- Call on assigned existing customers to maintain close contact with the market and opportunity activity.
- Share information with designated customers on features and benefits of products and services.
- Provide feedback on customer and competition information for further market penetration.
- Maintain CRM and ensure they are up-to-date, accurate, and complete.
- Deliver business reviews and participate in the design of business growth and sales plans.
- Assist in the implementation and delivery of regional solutions and targets for Services.
- Contribute to team spirit.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and support management of customer expectations.
- Ensure all products, sales tools, systems, and support are available in a timely fashion for successful execution and completion of plans and targets.
- Educate customers on technical requirements of the product lines and support tools.
- Be familiar with all corporate and site policies and procedures regarding communication charter, personal conduct, and HSES standards. Act in compliance with all regulations.
- Interact with Trade Centre Manager and Staff on all day-to-day activities, forecasting, planning, and stock management to ensure the best customer experience and satisfaction.
- Manage overdue payments. Work with RSM, Sale Support, and AR to maintain AR to meet Business KPI for Aus.
- Ensure forecasting accuracy in line with business KPI for Aus.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the coatings or related industry.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, MS Office, and computer technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Degree or Diploma in Science or Engineering.
- ACA Inspection Certificate or NACE CIP to Level 2.
- Must have a valid Driver's Licence.
