**About the position**

Frankston City Council's Community Relations team is looking for a full-time Publication and Communications Officer responsible for Council’s external and iternal publications, including digital and traditional newsletters, executive communications, and statutory publications.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Working across the organisation to identify and develop content for Council's community newsletters
- Developing editorial plans, curating content, overseeing publication design and layout, and managing print and distribution suppliers.
- Managing production of statutory documents such as the Annual Report and Council Plan
- Managing key internal comms channels

**About you**
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Experience in with print and digital production processes
- Proven organisational skills, including ability to meet deadlines while working in a dynamic environment
- Experience in delivering impactful communications plans and strategies
- Experience working in complex stakeholder environments, sometimes alongside senior leaders
- Experience in working in a local or state government organisation

This position is a Band 6A currently remunerated at $98,130.72 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
