Novus Education (RTO Code: 45082 ) is seeking Course Coordinator for **CHC52021 - Diploma of Community Services **for its training locations. The role involves monitoring the day-to-day quality delivery of training, assessment and student services (including design, development, piloting and validation of training and assessment tools, resources, supporting materials and processes) for the qualification.

Training location is in Ultimo, Mountain Street & Gosford, Mann Street.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Liaise with faculty and students to ensure seamless course delivery, addressing any logístical or content-related challenges.
- Delivering training, assessment and student services that adhere to the principles of access and equity, meet the individual needs of students, and maximise outcomes for students;
- Designing, developing and continuously improving training and assessment tools, resources and materials that comply with the mandates of relevant Training Packages, and that meet workplace and regulatory requirements, as appropriate;
- Develop training facilitation plan per each unit of competency, ensure the face to face/online training delivery is conducted in accordance to developed training and assessment strategy and the assessment schedule.
- Conducting assessment and making assessment decisions in accordance with the principles of assessment and rules of evidence;
- Validating, moderating and continuously improving assessment tools and processes, and moderating assessment decisions;
- Ensure an accurate record of student’s academic performance and attendance are recorded and kept for each student in a timely and systematically manner.
- Reporting on students regarding absenteeism.
- Demonstrating current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment services being delivered;
- Actively engaging in ongoing professional development to ensure the continued currency of VET knowledge and skills, industry skills / vocational competence, and trainer / assessor competence;
- Undertaking and delivering outcomes for such other duties, activities and projects as may from time to time be assigned by the RTO Manager.

Necessary qualifications:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Higher Qualification in Community Services sector
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent inclusive of TAEASS502 and TAELLN411
- Minimum 4 years industry experience
- Knowledge of AQTF, ASQA
- 3+ years practical work experience in the field you deliver training
- A national police check (issued within the past 12 months)
