**Your opportunity**

This is an exciting, creative, varied and hands-on position where you will work independently, and be supported to further hone your craft as part of the team.

You'll be rolling out marketing and communications initiatives—both internally and externally—helping to strengthen our brand, expand our reach, and support our national growth.

Reporting directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will join a small but impactful team, deeply committed to supporting the organisation to deliver on its objective to provide more services, to more people in more places, so they can live their life well.

This is a full-time, maternity leave cover role ending May 2026.

Some intrastate and interstate travel may be required to capture great content and bring our stories to life.

**About the role**

Some of the key functions of the role include:

- Create engaging written and visual content, such as blog posts, media releases, social media posts, flyers, posters, presentations, and videos.
- Manage social media pages, Meta Ads, and online community engagement.
- Lead marketing and communication efforts for key projects and new service launches.
- Support media relations activities, as well as event and conference planning.
- Capture photos for marketing materials and digital platforms.Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and external partners as required.

**What you’ll bring**

To succeed in this role, there are some essentials you’ll need:

- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum three years experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and proficiency in Meta Business Suite.
- Demonstrated understanding of media and the news cycle.
- Proficiency in Canva.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

While not essential, we’d also love for you to let us know if you have experience in:

- Adobe Creative Suite.
- Video editing.
- Google Ads, Google Analytics and SEO.
