Opal Packaging is an industry-leading packaging business. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as we are currently recruiting a Logistics Coordinator (raw materials), at our Banksmeadow site.

The key focus of this role will be to:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end raw material/board inbound and replenishment operations
- Lead the Inward Goods teams and 3PLs, ensuring effective resource utilization
- Review incoming shipments and coordinate with suppliers to receive all import shipping documents on time (including time slotting of incoming and outgoing vehicles).
- Plan and deliver optimal warehouse space utilization
- Manage inbound inventory to ensure accuracy
- Lead the coordination of inbound logistics with 3PLs to achieve the most effective supply of board on time and at competitive costs.
- Investigate issues (example incorrect deliveries, wrong documentation), perform root cause analysis and engage team to provide resolutions for improvements.
- Perform analysis and reporting
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

- Proven SAP experience in inbound operations, inventory management, in a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- An understanding of shipping freight and/ or import experience (would be ideal)
- Experience in maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders (including management of 3PL operations)
- Experience in leading and developing teams
- Current Forklift (LF) license plus relevant experience
