**Our Journey**

The **Victorian Heart Hospital** will be Australia’s first dedicated heart hospital and is nearing its final stages of construction. It will include a full range of ambulatory and inpatient cardiac care, including cardiac theatres, cardiac catheterisation laboratories and ambulatory services such as cardiac CT, echocardiography and specialist consultation. It will also feature a unique, patient centred model of care. The Victorian Heart Hospital will also play a key role in advancing research and teaching and will be home to the Victorian Heart Institute, a brand new, health and medical research organisation at Monash University.

This is an exciting opportunity for outstanding clinical professionals to join the Victorian Heart Hospital's Cardiac Diagnostic and Non-Invasive Imaging Department. You will be intimately involved in the performance of leading edge diagnostic and therapuetic procedures within the Victorian Heart Hospital.

**A day in the life**

As an integral part of the cardiac multidisciplinary team, we guarantee that no two days will be the same.

In this important role, you will:

- Be intimately involved in the care of patients affected across the range of adult and paediatric cardiac conditions.
- Participate in the diagnosis and assessment of adult and paediatreic patients suspected of cardiac conditions.
- Assist in the review of the status of our patients utilising the latest in diagnostic equipment.
- Participate in new and ongoing research programs requiring physiological data.
- Extend and develop your skills across the range of cardiac investigations.
- Have the opportunity to undertake advanced training in Cardiac Rhythm Management, Interventional Cardiology, Paediatric Cardiac assessment and Cardiac Sonography.

**What you bring
**As a member of a multidisciplinary team working with doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals** **you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

- Exceptional interpersonal and engagement skills
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise with hospital personnel, private referrers, contracted agencies, clients and family members.
- The highest standards of professionalism and a commitment to working within a multicampus service.
- Demonstrate autonomy and a high standard of clinical reasoning skills in the performance of diagnostic procedures
- Recent experience with Interventional, CRM or cardiac investigations will be an advantage.
- Commitment to participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs.
