**_About the Company_**
The Brisbane Bullets are one of ten basketball clubs that form the National Basketball League (NBL) competition. Based in the sunshine state, the Bullets are Brisbane’s oldest professional sporting Club’s with a rich history of success - dating back to 1979.
The Brisbane Bullets aim to inspire and nurture the future generations of basketball fanatics, by embracing the Queensland basketball community, and becoming the leading club for the state. The National Basketball League (NBL) is regarded as one of the premier basketball organisations in the world and is home to some of the world’s best athletes, and is in an exception growth phase worldwide.
**_The Role_**
With the 22/23 Season fast approaching, the Brisbane Bullets are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team and manage the commercial revenue growth of the club.
As our
**Business Development Executive**, you will be the key component within the commercial team that drives new business revenue opportunities, actively network to build strong trusting relationships with corporate network in Brisbane, Club partners and stakeholders, and support the sales strategies and targets of the organisation
This is an incredible opportunity for a sales professional to make their mark in the sporting industry and make a change within the club and help in driving the greater success of the Brisbane Bullets Basketball Club.
**_Key Responsibilities_**
- Relationship Building & Management including, generating leads, developing relationships, understanding customer needs, presenting solutions, negotiating, and closing new business.
- Manage daily and weekly sales activity including outbound calls, face-to-face appointments, and networking functions.
- Utilise CRM tools to track, measure, and analyse sales activity.
- Present weekly & monthly reporting against the annual sales plans and earnings targets.
- Assist with the delivery of Game Day Corporate & VIP experience.
- Actively network with game day clients, identifying new prospects to meet, follow up and upsell.
- Be the primary contact for corporate members, coordinating with match day ticketing, guest names, dietary requirements, and function credits.
- Research new ideas across all sporting and other industries offering hospitality, keeping our match day functions fresh and exciting.

**_About You_**
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a sales & relationship management role
- Go-getter attitude, strives for success, and enjoys the challenge of a sales environment
- Proven ability to demonstrate value-for-money outcomes to potential stakeholders.
- Exceptional client-facing skills & ability to build rapport and trust quickly
- Detailed and meticulous planning skills and attention to detail.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in working to set KPI's
- Ability to network and understanding the needs of the business model to drive sales revenue
