Carlitas Caring Services Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated female disability support worker to work with our team of Disability Support Workers in the Western Sydney area. The Disability Support Worker provides support to NDIS participants to assist them in achieving goals set out in their NDIS plans.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience in Disability Support Work and Aged Care
- Must have experience working with participants who have Autism
- Qualifications in the Disability and/or Aged Care Sector
- Willingness to travel
- Must have current First Aid certificate.
- A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Must have a current NDISWC.
- Must have completed COVID-19 Infection Control training
- Must have your own vehicle
- _**Must have a valid Australian Driver's license**_ (an international license will not be accepted)

**Position Duties**:

- Assist participants in completing Self-Care and Domestic activities.
- Assist participants in engaging in Community, Social and Recreational Activities.
- Perform other tasks, including meal preparation and cooking.
- Build rapport with the participants and their families.
- Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained for the participants and their families.
- Complete daily shift notes for participants.
- Manage your own safety and the team's safety whilst on the job.
- Abide by organisation policies & procedures and all relevant government legislation and standards.

Pay: Up to $40.26 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)

- NSW Driver's License (required)
