We are seeking Reliable, Enthusiastic, Motivated and Professional Disability Support Worker to work in Multiple locations in Western and North Western Sydney Area.

*Must have Drug and Alcohol, Complex Mental Health Experience -NDIS Sector*

As a Disability Support Worker you will be required to assist people with:

* Ability to manage complex mental health Behaviour - Extensive knowledge of challenging behaviour, incident report and management.

*Personal care - showering, dressing, grooming

* Household tasks - household cleaning and laundry

* Skill development - shopping, cooking, Financial management

* Transport - transport to appointments and/or shopping

* Social & Community participation - engage in the community, meet people

Applicant must meet below mandatory requirements:

* Relevant Industry experience working with clients who have a physical/mental health disability.

* Must have Behaviour management experience.

* Cert IV in Disability or equivalent

* NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain

*Working with Children check ID.

*Medication management and administration

*Valid Police Clearance check.

*Completed all NDIS Modules.

* Current First Aid & CPR Certificates

* Current Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain

* Valid Driver's License

*Comprehensive Vehicle insurance.

*Valid Infection Control certificate (Not older than one year).

* Covid vaccination

* Flu vaccination

*Australia resident or must hold Valid Working rights

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $40.00 per hour

Education:

  • Certificate I - IV (Required)

Experience:

  • Working with people with Mental Health: 1 year (Required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver Licence (Required)
