Child Care Worker (Group Leaders Only)

Imagination Garden is owned and operated by Geelong locals, Sue Down and Matthew Dawson, who have managed child care services in the government, private and not-for-profit sectors since 1991. We understand that parents are the first and most important educators in their child’s life and our role is to support families. We believe children benefit most from natural environments, where they can freely explore, be inquisitive and discover the world they live in. Imagination Garden is looking for an experienced Child Care Worker (Group Leaders Only) to join the business.

Duties to be performed:

- Ensuring relevant materials and equipment are prepared for children in order for them to be able to participate in educational and recreational activities
- Ensuring children’s behaviours are managed and they are provided guidance with their social development
- Overseeing children’s hygiene
- Managing children’s daily routines and recreational activities
- Conducting stimulating and entertaining activities for children through reading and playing games

The position requires at least 2 years of experience, good attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.

Position: Full Time

**Salary**: $50,000 to $70,000 depending on experience

Location: Bell Post Hill, Victoria
