Document Controller

We are currently looking for an experienced Document Controller in Rail to join our Project team based in the Sunshine Coast/Brisbane.
This infrastructure project will create opportunities will increase capacity, improve reliability, and reduce travel times for passengers and freight.
Here you will be part of that opportunity, to live and work close to iconic beaches and scenery, while working in a dynamic environment.

**Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Provide customer service to the client, external vendors, subcontractors, and community stakeholders as required
- Provide administrative support which may include arranging and attending meetings, taking and distributing minutes, and making travel and accommodation arrangements if required
- Organise the office processes, workspace, office supplies and equipment.
- Establish and implement an efficient project-related document control register, database and hard copy filing system.
- Implement Project Document Management System and processes.
- Ensure document submissions are in accordance and compliant with the project branding / document formats and requirements.
- Establish and maintain a correspondence tracking system, including tracking and reporting on status to follow up with Project team members.
- Ensure the documents are managed in strict confidentiality
- Perform all duties in accordance with policies, processes, systems and procedures
- Develop and maintain a list of project related Standards and hard copy library version.
- Develop and maintain a list of project related codes, acts and regulations.
- Internal audits/surveillance of project work sites to ensure effective document handling and current document revisions are in place.
- Perform all duties in accordance with JH policies, processes, reporting, systems and procedures.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Experience in document management systems or experience in managing complex database/management systems
- Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent experience in Business or Administration
- Advanced computer skills
- Prioritisation skills
- Records management
