The ACCESS Program Manager is responsible for leading the planning, implementation and delivery of all aspects of the ACCESS Program with a small team of staff and volunteers.

The core responsibilities of this role are:

- Drive the delivery of the ACCESS mentoring project by supporting the Project Officer in recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer mentors and in promoting and recruiting the program with potential participants (mentees)
- Drive the delivery of the ACCESS Leadership Program in collaboration with the Program Coordinator and contractors
- Lead the implementation and integration of ACCESS project throughout WAGEC and the community by proactively developing and nurturing relationships within WAGEC, partners and stakeholders
- Complete administration tasks in a timely & thorough manner
- Actively contribute to WAGEC’s organisational culture

Developed and run by WAGEC since 2020, the ACCESS Program supports women to improve their confidence, economic safety, and wellbeing.

The program supports women via:

- ACCESS mentoring - a 6-month mentoring program providing 1-on-1 tailored support to women impacted by domestic and family violence, homelessness and social disadvantage.
- Tailored workshops and events - Workshops, events and training opportunities in response to the identified needs of mentees.
- Partnerships and referrals - We partner and collaborate with local agencies, education providers, prospective employers and other services to provide responsive support to women.

Through the ACCESS Leadership Program, we also work with individuals to make workplaces safer and more accessible for women who have experienced domestic and family violence or sexual assault.
