**The Role**

The organisation is looking for an enthusiastic, diligent and outcome focused individual to join the team. The HR Manager will be responsible for the full HR Generalist function, ensuring the quality and accuracy of HR advice, as well as initiatives that are in line with the organisation's strategic plan and practices that support and enhance performance outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with the Head of HR, focus on the continuing implementation of the organisation's strategic plan
- Provide advice and consult with management on all employee relations matters
- Develop and implement Learning and Development programs across the organisation
- Implement strategies to support career and succession planning
- Oversee compliance with relevant Health and Safety practices including workers compensation, return to work coordination, industry awards and incident management
- Oversee day to day HR operational issues including data management, recruitment, induction and performance management
- Prepare and manage HR related budgets - report on performance and provide analysis as required

**Essential criteria**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a human resources or related discipline
- Proven generalist human resources management experience including the ability to work both at strategic and operational levels
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary human resources practices, issues and trends
- Strong knowledge of Schads awards and the ability to interpret
- You will have a strong work ethic and a passion for HR
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior IT skills - Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
