**Let's talk about the team**:
Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Vice President (VP) to lead the APAC Communications sector, including Telco & Media. You will have a proven track record of strategy, thought leadership and building new business with Telco/CSP clients and the system integrator ecosystem and demonstrated experience of growing a business. You will be accountable for driving new business opportunities with customers in Engineering R&D for the Telco & Media sector in Australia & New Zealand and growing existing accounts to meet the annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue and bookings goals.
You will lead the go-to-market of Capgemini Engineering's global Telco & Media portfolio and work closely with Pre-sales, Delivery and with Market Unit Sector Leadership to win deals with pursuit clients. You will provide leadership in the CSP segment and work closely with global Telco & Media industry leaders.

- Lead the Telecom ER&D strategy in APAC region and be a key member of Telco Industry GTM
- Lead the sales team from the front as a 'hands-on' client facing executive
- Develop strategies with the team to build new customer base and grow existing accounts
- Promote our global ER&D portfolio & capability and leverage our leading position to drive bookings and revenues
- Develop customer value propositions in collaboration with presales and delivery teams
- Consultative business development activities, identifying needs and suggesting solutions to strategic customers
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure timely issue resolution and ensure customer satisfaction
- Leverage your industry and competitive landscape knowledge and provide inputs help drive continuous improvement
- Provide thought leadership for Telco specific industry innovation and the evolution of next generation solutions

**Let's talk about your capability and experience**:

- ~15+ years of relevant engineering and services experience
- Experience of selling Engineering R&D services to Telco organizations and history of achieving financial objectives
- Deep sector knowledge of the Telco market in Asia-Pacific, ideally experience working with Japan, Australia, India, China, and South East Asia
- Experience operating in large organization with complex matrix structure
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work autonomously
- Strong leadership, sales, negotiation and influencing skills
- Flexible team player
