Peninsula Larder is a family-run food manufacturer & we’re looking for an energetic person to join our small team.

**1 x Dispatch/Packaging & Production Assistant (Experienced preferred**)

The role is very hands on and you'll be on your feet. Dispatching website orders, packaging and labelling of our handcrafted gourmet product, as well as assistance with production/cleaning. There will also be some customer service both over the phone and face to face. Duties will vary day to day.

There will be more hours available/required in the lead up to Christmas as the website and production become extremely busy. 4 - 5 days but there will be a minimum of 2+ shifts most of the year.

Training provided.

**Requirements**:
(previous experience in a kitchen/hospitality ideal. Fast careful hands and attention to detail a must)

*Production is on Tuesdays - availability until 6pm required.
- Comfortable in a kitchen environment - assistance with production and cleaning, nothing too complicated and we'll all be working together
- Able to be working on feet all day (it's a kitchen so comfortable non slip shoes a must)
- Packing and dispatching website and distributor orders via online platform. (competent computer skills required)
- Manual packaging and labelling of products.
- Able to lift up to 20 kg (we pack up to 20kg deliveries in a box)
- Monitoring of product standards for quality and consistency
- Communicating with other team members
- Customer service - on the phone and face to face.
- Ensure production quality and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize tasks
- No pre-existing injuries please, it's a physically demanding role.

*A love of food would be amazing too. Our customers are all foodies and like to chat about food.

The hours are pretty flexible but you must be able to work until 6pm. We generally close at 4.30 but production day tends to be a longer day.

**Monday to Friday only, no weekends or public holidays. Award rates. 4 - 8 hour shifts. around 2+ shifts per week. Shift and days will vary. Immediate start. We will start you off with a paid trial shift to make sure we are all happy together.**
