**Production Assistant**

**Location**: Seaford - only 45 minutes from Melbourne
- **Red Gum BBQ **_ is one of Australia’s first BBQ brands and brings over a decade of experience to serving the most authentic, ethically sourced, southern-style BBQ to our passionate and loyal guests. We are excited to introduce _**Red Gum BBQ At Home**_. Our incredibly popular range of sauces, rubs and small goods is expanding, reaching customers across Australia. Our recently opened manufacturing facility in Seaford is equipped with cutting-edge food production equipment with a focus on scaling sustainably and sending our amazing food products across Australia. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts to assist us produce products for retail and distribution.

**About the Role**:
Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of BBQ perfection? Red Gum BBQ at Home is on the hunt for a dedicated Production Worker to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the manufacturing of rub and sauce products involving both manual and automated processing.
- Operating a range of semi and fully automatic processing and packaging equipment.
- Undertaking a variety of manual packaging tasks.
- Preparing finished products for dispatch
- Maintaining appropriate batch and production records
- Assist in stock control, reconciliation and reporting.
- Maintain the highest level of quality control to ensure quality expectations are met.
- Follow established processes and procedures to ensure timely production and packaging.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

**What We’re Looking For**:
No experience is required as full on the job training will be provided but prior experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment would be highly beneficial.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for ensuring product consistency and quality.
- Team Player: An ability to collaborate effectively with others in a small team alongside proficiency in working autonomously with mínimal supervision.
- Process-Oriented: Strong adherence to processes and procedures to maintain the highest standards.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to varying demands and take on different tasks as needed
- Problem Solving: Ability to solve problems and adapt processes to ensure completion of tasks in a timely manner.
- Food Safety: Previous experience or exposure to Food Safety Programs and/or HACCP would be highly desirable.

Pay: From $24.10 per hour
