Australian household name going through a period of growth are partnering with Talent to engage Front-End Lead with a strong background in IT/Banking/Investment area to support their on-going projects.

They are looking for a Front-End Lead who would like to move into a technical hands on leadership position. This developer will be contributing to a large range of works using Java, Chronicle, Kafka, JavaScript/TypeScript (React and Next.js).

The key requirements for the role are:

- 8-10 years' experience in Software Development
- Strong front-end development skills and experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript (React & Next.JS)
- Deep knowledge of principles and design patterns
- Experience in design and development of lean WebAPI modules, webhooks and/or websockets, real-time data transfer
- Experience with AWS with particular focus on CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of Github / Gitflow, CodeDeploy
- Experience working in a Fintech start-up, investment, or banking sector.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills as well as the ability to cope with high-pressure situations.
- Analytical and critical thinking to identify the root cause and solve incidents and ongoing problems.
- A team player with influencing ability
