**The Role of Diversity & Inclusion Specialist**:
As the Diversity and Inclusion Lead, your key focus area is to strategically shape and execute initiatives that champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across every facet of CSR.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diversity Initiatives: Lead and advance a portfolio of projects and initiatives, tailored to elevate diversity and inclusion practices throughout CSR. These initiatives directly contribute to the delivery of our Sustainability Strategy, particularly the Empowering our People pillar.
- Performance Reporting: Maintain a reporting framework, consistently assessing and evaluating the progress of all diversity and inclusion activities. Your reporting will be disseminated internally to key stakeholders such as SteerCo, ELT, and the Board, and externally to relevant partners, includingthe Champions of Change Coalition. You will lead the completion of the annual WGEA submission.
- Tailored Development Programs: Design and implement specialised programs that target graduates and apprentices, ensuring inclusivity from the outset of their journeys.
- Communication & Engagement Partnership: Collaborate effectively with the Communications and Engagement team to ensure that messages, initiatives, and successes in diversity and inclusion are consistently and compellingly communicated across CSR.
- Skills Nurturing: Partner with Learning & Leadership Development team and to curate and deliver skill-building resources, with a strategic focus on inclusive leadership, psychological safety, bystander intervention, and allyship.
- Thought Leadership: Continuously inspire and educate stakeholders about the importance of D&I, sharing innovative ideas, and articulating the tangible advantages of a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Industry Leadership: Maintain an awareness of industry trends and emerging best practices in D&I, positioning CSR at the forefront of this crucial movement.
- Long-Term Vision: Identify strategic opportunities in the evolution of our D&I strategy. Our current emphasis is on gender representation, with a roadmap to expand our focus to encompass other diversity dimensions.

**About you**:

- A commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion, driving transformative change, and fostering a positive, equitable work environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in diversity and inclusion principles, theories, and best practices.
- The ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data pertaining to D&I metrics, enabling precise tracking of progress and the formulation of strategic insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, essential for conveying the importance of D&I initiatives.
- Superior organisational and project management capabilities, underpinned by a strategic mindset.
- Skilful in navigating differing perspectives related to D&I with tact and constructive dialogue.
- Tertiary and/or Post Graduate qualifications in HR or Organisational Development are highly advantageous.
