**Job Description**:

You will have the autonomy and support to influence thinking, challenge the status quo and drive real change. This role has broad exposure across the business, from the grass-roots to the execs. It’s an opportunity to utilise your expertise and passion for all things DEI, and really make your mark as a Subject Matter Expert in your field.
As the DEI Lead you will own the continuing development and implementation of the strategy, framework and governance structure that will help Nine meet its DEI aspirations. You will influence thinking and behaviours by delivering learning initiatives for our leaders and employers. You will empower people at all levels to drive cultural change, create trust and embrace belonging and inclusion.
Day to day you will:
- Actively build, maintain, facilitate and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness and keep up-to-date with diversity and inclusion practices
- Take responsibility for the engagement and success of Nine’e Employee Resource Groups (Nine Communities)
- Guide and influence leaders on the importance of driving diversity and inclusion
- Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices
- Profile and leverage new trends and initiatives to build momentum, passion and substance
- Implement diversity metrics that can measure Nine’s success
- Review current practices and policies, assessing and analysing the extent to which they support or hinder Nine’s diversity goals

What we would like to see on your resume:
- Experience in a D&I role or working on D&I projects
- Experience navigating complex environments/large enterprises
- Evidence of strong influencing and stakeholder management
- Example of proactivity, initiative & resilience
- Strong project management skills
