We are searching for an experienced
**Product Manager **to develop and manage our range of home and leisure shade solutions, specifically the
**Coolaroo®** brand and private label offerings across the markets we serve.

The
**Cancer Council** has recently endorsed our core range of products, providing a trusted validation our products can aid in the protection against the harmful effects of the sun.

Collaborating with our third party suppliers and inhouse quality team (based in our manufacturing facility in Ningbo, China) will be core to ensuring we provide the optimum value in product, service and cost.

**The role**
- Serve as “CEO” of the assigned product categories. Work cross-functionally to identify growth, operational efficiency, and cost savings opportunities
- Optimize consumer experience using insights to inform the journey to purchase
- Review and deliver overall cost reduction / margin maximization targets.
- Manage portfolio, mix, packaging, SKU rationalization, and profitability across the assigned categories.
- Work collaboratively across global regions and with Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Trade, and Sales counterparts
- Develop deep knowledge of the target market, customer, consumer and end user for the assigned categories.
- Support the global stage-gate process by completing necessary documentation and generating best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies and projects to drive category growth in terms of market share, new users, usage frequency, and differentiating benefits.
- Create and deliver commercialization plans for categories, working collaboratively to ensure local relevance & global consistency
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Proven experience in product management and product development experience
- Project management experience, including timeline and milestone development.
- Skilled in developing and executing commercialization plans in B2B and/or B2C environments.
- Experience curating, initiating and launching new products to market.
- Consumer Insights (quantitative and qualitative) experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams to deliver projects (indirect leadership)
- Experience of prioritizing multiple, concurrent projects with a collaborative approach
