**HIRING: Casual Trade Assistant - Solar Installation**
**Location**: Derwent Park, TAS
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 6:30am start (full-time hours)
**Pay**: Award rate

Expert Energy Tasmania is looking for a **reliable Trade Assistant** to join our solar installation team. You’ll be helping install solar panels and batteries, working outdoors and on rooftops, so you’ll need to be **physically fit and comfortable with manual labor**.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar systems
- Carry panels and equipment safely on and off roofs
- Prepare and clean work areas
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures
- Work effectively with the team and communicate on-site

**What we’re looking for**:

- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Good English skills to communicate on site
- Manual driver’s licence
- White Card (or willing to obtain one)
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to learn
- Comfortable working at heights and lifting heavy equipment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in construction, trade, or solar is a bonus but **not required**:

- Willingness to learn and grow in the renewable energy industry
