Customer Support Specialist Solar

Established in 2013, Solar Engineers provides Engineering Services and Supply and installation of Energy Efficient products including Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Wind Turbines etc to Residential and Commercial Customer.
The Solar Sales and Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all aspects of contracted and private solar projects. This individual will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating jobs, ensuring the timely submission of all required documents, and tracking project progress from start to finish. They will work closely with our installation teams, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, including cost-benefit analyses and financing options.
- Educate customers on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, incentives, and new technologies in solar energy.
- Collaborate with the installation and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- **Contract Coordination**:_
- Oversee project accreditations and ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
- Book jobs for projects and coordinate the schedules with the relevant teams.
- Handle all pre
- and post-project documentation, including client communications and site reports.
- Follow up with the installation teams to ensure all required certificates are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensure all compliance processes are completed according to specifications and deadlines.
- **Client & Stakeholder Communication**:_
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Keep clients informed of project status, expected timelines, and any issues that may arise.
- Build strong relationships with contractors and clients to ensure repeat business and high satisfaction.
- **General Administrative Duties**:_
- Maintain accurate records of all communications, bookings, documents, and certificates.
- Track project progress and report on timelines, challenges, and solutions.
- Ensure all project-related paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Follow up on all outstanding quotes, ensuring prompt responses to clients and closing deals effectively.
- **Requirements**:_
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar energy, electrical, or related industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Basic understanding of solar power systems and energy solutions (training provided).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
