About our Industry

The solar, battery and renewable energy industries are going through a significant period of growth with many businesses and households opting to participate by installing solar systems and batteries.

As this role is an Apprenticeship, you will be provided with training, experience and support to complete your trade as an Electrician. You will be given exposure to all aspects of the solar and battery installation process, as well as some general electrical work.

The role is Monday to Friday, usually in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

What you will Learn

  • Installation of solar racking
  • DC cabling
  • Installation of solar panels and batteries
  • Mounting of inverters
  • Exposure to switchboard wiring
  • Running of data cables
  • Installation of smart meters and control management systems
  • General electrical

What we are Looking for

Ideally, you will possess the following:

  • Keen interest in the solar and renewable technology area
  • Experience in the solar industry would be a bonus but is not required
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Hard working
  • A quick learner and someone who is keen to learn
  • Initiative
  • Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $17.18 – $24.72 per hour
