**Job Description**:
SGS is seeking a IT Business Partner to join our team near Perth Airport.

**Duties include, however not limited to**:

- Act as a primary liaison between the IT department and business lines and functions to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business, group and global strategies.
- Partnering with the business units and driving the understanding/discovery of pain points and guiding the process of what IT solutions and/or processes can solve those pain points.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, strategies, and needs and align IT solutions to support those objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders to gain insights into business operations and identify areas where technology can improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders on IT-related issues, including system functionality, processes, and best practice adherence.
- Monitor the effectiveness of IT support, systems and solutions and ensure they are meeting business needs and expectations and delivering on agreed SLAs.
- Monitor service ticket queues and ensure SLA adherence on both sides (IT and end user) and broker effective communication between the groups where SLAs are slipping or are misunderstood.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- You are a skilled talker/writer with a flair for getting to the point effectively and concisely.
- Professional/Presentable. You are the face between IT and the business.
- A supreme negotiator - highly adept at mediating between differing points of view and getting everyone on the same page with the right balance of empathy and holding your ground.
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills, you can work across multiple projects, managing competing demands and responding to business needs, sometimes at short notice.
- Passionate about technology and innovation and promoting technology as a tool for creating efficiency.
