Monash Club is one of the largest venues within the Monash Clayton University Campus with an A la carte restaurant, lounge, private dining room and conference spaces which is exclusive to staff, alumni and their guests.

We are open Monday to Friday and closed on weekends. Please include you availability in your cover letter or resume.

**We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic staff to join our team, helping maintain and excel our current standards during the Christmas Party season.**
- Key duties of this role would include, but no limited to the following;_
- Explain the food and beverage offerings to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well and providing suitable companying beverages
- Ensure accuracy whilst ordering and delivering food and beverage orders
- Clearing and resetting tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple service areas
- Working with Monash Club team to ensure control of the day to day operations of function facilities, involving set up and pack down of conference and event spaces
- Assisting function guests with any queries they may have during their event and ensuring guests expectations are met
- Working on functions all over campus including setting up and packing down
- To be considered for the role you will need;_
- Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and efficient
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certifications
- Strong background in hospitality
- Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients
- A high standard of grooming and presentation
- Service experience in an A la carte restaurant including the ability to carry 3 plates
- Utilising sales techniques to upsell where opportunity presents
- Ability to follow event orders
- Barista experience is a bonus

Operation hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, rosters will require some flexibility with some events stretching pass our closing time.

We have night functions on the odd occasion that you may be expected to work.

This is a casual role with vary of hours depending on the week. Please include your availiablity in your resume or cover letter.

Pay: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour
