Monash's Engineering Department has an exciting opportunity for a highly driven and skilled professional to join our team as Development Technical Officer.

Reporting to the Team Leader Development Engineering, this position is responsible for providing support and service within the Development Engineering and Asset Protection teams to ensure high quality and timely outcomes relating to customer service delivery requirements and the achievement of department /divisional objectives.

• Understanding of the relevant technology, procedures and processes used within the team
• Extensive computer operation/PC skills, including emailing, Word Processing, Excel, Access, Arc View (GIS), Pathway/ePathway and HP TRIM
• An understanding of the role and function of the staff members to whom they provide support, an understanding of the objectives of the team in which they work and an appreciation of the objectives of the department and Council
• Knowledge of office administration systems and the ability to use such systems competently
• Relevant experience and work skills commensurate with the requirements of the work area, role and functions of the position
• Experience in a responsible administration/technical role including working in a fast-paced and customer service environment

• Current Victorian Drivers Licence
• Satisfactory National Police Check
