Our client provides international freight forwarding, customs clearance and transport services to a diverse client base. Due to ongoing growth and success, an opportunity has arisen within their Melbourne branch for a suitably experienced Customer Service / Pricing Officer to join their team.

Working within a fast paced, professional team environment, you will enjoy variety, plenty of client interaction This position will see you supporting the Customer Service and Sales Team by preparing quotes, regularly reviewing and updating rates/tariffs and keeping them up to date on market and industry changes.

**Key duties will include**:

- Quote new business that sales are trying to gain
- Chasing and maintaining FCL and LCL rates and Tariffs
- Attend and quote DDU.DAP.DDP requests from origin
- Chasing and maintain origin charges
- Attending to all client enquiries and queries
- Enter and follow-up client orders
- Send client reports and status reports
- Attend Client Visits

**To be considered for this position applicants must meet the following criteria**:

- Recent experience gained specifically within the international freight forwarding industry
- Working knowledge of Cargowise 1 (EDI Enterprise) and MS Office
- Experience in quoting within a forwarding environment
