**Position: Casual Support Worker**

**Location: Illawarra Region, NSW**

**Type: Casual**

**What We're Looking For**:

- Availability between Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm.
- A genuine love for older people and a commitment to their well-being.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging in friendly conversations.
- A caring and compassionate nature.
- The desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing companionship and emotional support to our elderly clients.
- Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.
- Travelling with client in your car and the confidence to work independantly.
- Engaging in friendly conversations and meaningful interactions.
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of our clients.
- Reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.

**What We Offer**:

- Competitive compensation - $37.14 p/h with 96c per/km in between all client services.

- Opportunities for professional development - We offer further training in Certificate III in Individual Support. As well as Bridge training online that has many videos to further develop skills in specialised services, such as: dementia, disability, high needs equipment training.

**Salary**: $37.14 per hour

- Must have car with insurance and licence
- Travel up to 30 minutes in between services
- Cert III or IV certification
- Availability between Monday to Friday -7am - 6pm

- Home care: 2 years (preferred)
