**The Role**

As the QA/QC Advisor/Inspector, you will primarily work with the workshop to assist in the delivery of structural fabrication projects for the Construction and Mining Industry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee all welding activities, ensuring compliance with all WPS, WPQR, client & code requirements & compiling of all associated documentation.
- Liaise with NDT Contractors’ and review all documentation.
- Oversee all coating activities carried out post fabrication with client & code requirements. Carry out coating inspection as required.
- Validating and controlling all quality records for the project.
- Conducting internal audits to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Ensuring compliance of the quality management process to the highest standard.
- Implement project quality management system, quality plans and ITP’s.
- Perform relevant material inspections in accordance with governing standards and client specifications. Register complaints received and non-conformances identified.
- Assist with the production, completion, and collation of relevant verification documentation. Compile MDR & quality assurance records and ensure qualification records are maintained and client approved.

**To be successful in this role you must hold the following traits, skills, and qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the structural steel sector.
- AS1796 Certificate 10 in Welding Supervision (highly desirable)
- Experience with FIC & MDR documentation compilation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to work as a member of a service-oriented team.
- Can multitask, work under pressure, and set priorities effectively.
- Be flexible and adaptive to change.
