This role is an Associate level role within Operations, as part of a wider group also encompassing Equity Settlement and Equity Stock Loan.

The Listed Derivative Cash Funding and Reconciliation role is responsible for managing daily margin movements and cash flow activities for clients trading and clearing Listed Derivatives in the Australia and New Zealand markets, and also for managing Trade, Position, and Cash reconciliations on a T+1 basis for those markets.

As this team sits within a larger group, the expectation is that the successful applicant will also obtain exposure to Equity Settlement and Equity Stock Loan functions through the rotation of staff, and cross-training to ensure sufficient coverage

**Key functions performed are**:

- Proactively managing exchange/broker margin balances,
- Funding exchange/broker margin calls,
- Proactively managing affiliate margin balances/calls,
- Processing of margin movements for Listed Derivatives clients
- Reconciliation preparation using firm and vendor reconciliation tools.
- Investigation and resolution of identified breaks and issues.
- Critically analyze and improve on control/risk environment,
- Projects relating to STP automation, new business, and efficiency.
- Escalation and reporting to regional/global counterparts/management.

**Experience**:

- Over 3 years of operations experience ideally across ETD, OTC, Equities and SBL.
- Knowledge of Listed Derivatives funding/settlement an advantage, but not a requirement
- Knowledge of client money/funding rules and regulations is an advantage
- Experience on a reconciliation function an advantage,
- The individual will be expected to learn quickly to acquire the required technical and regulatory knowledge

**The role will be hired as a casual contractor paid a day rate of around $380- 450 plus superannuation per day.
