About the role

The Corporate Solutions Associate will support the solutions team in originating, structuring, and executing interest rate and medium-term FX hedging solutions for the firm's large corporate clients. This entry-level role involves learning about financial markets, derivatives products, and client relationship management, while partnering with various internal teams including trading, credit, and legal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying, presenting, and executing interest rate hedging solutions for corporate clients.
  • Support the origination, ongoing coverage, and execution of vanilla and structured solutions and other hedging transactions.
  • Prepare customized pitch-books and various market analyses for client meetings under supervision.
  • Provide support to senior dealers on market and economic updates, internal and external calls related to new and existing hedging transactions.
  • Learn to run complex models to assist with pricing metrics and quantifying market and credit risks.
  • Collaborate with banking, trading, credit, structuring, and other internal teams in executing hedging strategies.
  • Learn to market derivatives products, using a consultative sales approach.
  • Work collaborating with the wider bond teams to support offshore and onshore issuances with derivatives
  • Work with Strategy and Trading to provide proactive insights on financial markets thematics
  • Assist with customer specific insight-based analysis: Monte Carlo simulation, sensitivity analysis, peer analysis etc
  • When ready, manage a portfolio of corporate clients that will expand over time in line with experience & opportunities

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong interest in global financial markets.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and resilient.
  • Skilled at managing multiple tasks concurrently and highly organised.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
  • Firm understanding and experience in basic finance and/or economics is a plus
  • A high degree of ethics and integrity.
  • Strong academic record.
